HPC Fire Fire Pit & Fireplace Repair & Service

Ohio maker of gas fire pit burners, inserts, valves and ignition controls for outdoor fire features and fireplaces.

About HPC Fire

HPC Fire, the brand name of Hearth Products Controls, makes the burners, pans, valves and ignition systems that go inside gas fire pits, fire tables and outdoor fireplaces. Its lineup runs from match-light burner kits to electronic ignition inserts with timers and remotes, plus safety pilot kits, millivolt valves, fire media and water-and-fire features.

HPC is mostly a contractor and designer brand. Landscape builders, pool contractors and fabricators use its inserts in custom fire pits, and many finished fire tables from other companies use HPC parts. It sits in the premium segment, with inserts sized from small residential bowls to very large commercial features, and it is also a common source of replacement valves and ignition parts.

History

Hearth Products Controls started as a division of the Maddox Company and was incorporated in 1975. Its early work was indoor hearth controls such as safety pilot valves, millivolt valves and remote controls. Over time it moved into outdoor fire pit burners and complete inserts, developing the patented Penta burner and the Torpedo burner line. In May 2019 HPC announced a lifetime warranty on its full line of stainless fire pit burners for residential and commercial use.

Questions about HPC Fire

Who services HPC Fire fire pits near me?

The Find a Pro directory lists Pro Grill Verified companies that work on HPC Fire burners, valves and ignition systems. Search by your ZIP code to see who serves your area.

Why does my HPC electronic ignition fire pit click but not light?

Common causes are no gas reaching the burner, a dirty or cracked igniter, a failed flame sensor, or moisture in the pan or control box. A technician can check gas pressure, the igniter and the module.

Are HPC Fire burners covered for life?

HPC's stainless steel burners carry a lifetime warranty, but electronics, valves and pilot parts have shorter terms, generally 1 to 5 years depending on the part and use.

Can HPC parts be used to repair other brands of fire pits?

Often, yes. HPC valves, safety pilot kits and burners are used in many fire features, but sizing and gas type must match, so have a gas tech confirm compatibility.
