Lynx Grill Repair & Service
California-built luxury gas grills and outdoor kitchen components, plus the lower-priced Sedona line.
About Lynx
Lynx builds high-end gas grills and matching outdoor kitchen pieces at its plant in Downey, California. The Professional series is the core product: heavy stainless grills in 30 to 54 inch widths, with infrared Trident burners, rotisseries and a long list of matching side burners, storage and refrigeration.
Most Lynx buyers are homeowners putting in a full outdoor kitchen, often with a landscape designer or island builder involved. The Professional line sits in the luxury tier next to brands like Alfresco and Twin Eagles. Sedona by Lynx is a simpler, cheaper line for people who want the Lynx name and California build at a lower price, and the Asado is a gas flat-top for griddle-style cooking. Lynx also offers a Wi-Fi SmartGrill version of the Professional grill.
History
Lynx was started in 1996 in Southern California by Dante Cantal, Dale Seiden and Joe Stombaugh. It grew into one of the better-known luxury grill makers on the West Coast and added the Sedona by Lynx value line in 2013. In 2015 the company introduced a voice-controlled SmartGrill. In December 2015 Middleby Corporation, which already owned Viking, bought Lynx for about $83.8 million in cash. Lynx kept its headquarters and manufacturing in Downey, California, after the sale.

Where to buy Lynx
Lynx is sold through authorized outdoor kitchen, appliance and BBQ specialty dealers, plus large online grill retailers such as BBQGuys. Buying from an authorized dealer matters for warranty coverage.
Warranty: Professional grills carry lifetime parts coverage for the original owner on the stainless body, burners, cooking grates and Trident burner, 5 years on valves and manifolds, and 1 year of parts and labor. After the first year, labor is the owner's cost.
